Voices of our alumni sharing their experiences and memories.

VIPIN.R (BATCH 2008-10)

1)How did your experience at JAGSOM/IFIM shape your career or personal growth?
The 2 years in IFIM during PGDM was a good experience, from the causal Management course I did as UG to a serious professional course was quite a change and sometimes a bit challenging too. There were a lot of very good professors, especially guest lecturers who had industry experience shared a lot of good ideas, best practices etc.

2)How has your career positively evolved since graduating from JAGSOM/IFIM?
I was fortunate to get a job in the last semester of my course, and even more fortunate the college was okay with me skipping the classes and allowed me to appear just for the exams. I joined Thomson Reuters, as a Data Analyst for Americas region. The Financial Content Operations side of Thomson Reuters is now with London Stock Exchange Group(LSEG). I was able to work in various capacities such as Content Specialist, Business Analyst and progressively grow in my career. I now work as a Senior Product Manager in LSEG.
