Realty Women Icon Awards 2025 -
Ms. Rekha Mallan

Congratulations to Ms. Rekha Mallan (Alumna, Batch 1996–1998 | Vice President – Growth & Strategy, ArisUnitern RE Solutions) on being honoured at the 5th Realty+ Women Icon Awards 2025 in the category of Women Achievers in Brand Marketing & Management.
Receiving the award from industry legend Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani made the moment truly special. Ms. Rekha expressed heartfelt gratitude to her mentors, family, and team — especially her daughters, her biggest cheerleaders.

Mr. Ajay Satpathy’s Startup Leap

Mr. Ajay Satpathy, Alumnus of JAGSoM (Batch 2016–2018) and founder of LogicLens Solutions, has built a remarkable journey from Jharkhand to securing ₹50 Lakh in funding at a ₹5Cr valuation. A proud member of SAKSHAM 1.0 by Startup Jharkhand, Mr. Ajay recently shared insights on raising capital and building from a Tier-2 city — a story that continues to inspire entrepreneurs across India.

Celebrating Ms. Vanshika Shukla’s Achievement at EY

Hyderabad Brunch Pe Charcha on 29th June 2025

The Hyderabad edition of Brunch Pe Charcha held on 29th June 2025, 11:30 AM onwards, was a perfect blend of fun, food, and meaningful connections.
The day began with team games at Escape Time Mystery Games and continued with engaging conversations over brunch at Amnesia Sky Bar. A truly memorable gathering that brought our alumni community closer!

The 29th Convocation of JAGSoM was a heartfelt celebration of achievement, ambition, and the vibrant spirit of the JAGSoM community. The Class of 2025, alongside faculty and families, gathered for an evening of pride, joy, and memorable moments. Each step across the stage marked not just academic success, but the
beginning of bold new journeys. Wishing our graduates a future filled with purpose and endless possibilities.

Dr. Jagdish Sheth Honoured at Goizueta Business School

We are proud to celebrate the establishment of the Dr. Jagdish N. Sheth Endowed Professorship in Marketing at Goizueta Business School, Emory University. This prestigious honour recognizes Dr. Sheth’s remarkable contributions as a globally renowned marketing scholar, Padma Bhushan awardee, and Charles H. Kellstadt Professor. His legacy continues to shape and inspire generations in the world of business and beyond.

JAGSoM x NHRDN: Future Skills Roundtable

JAGSoM, in partnership with NHRDN, hosted an impactful CXO Roundtable focused on the Present & Future Work Skills Survey (India 2030) - a deep dive into the evolving demands of India’s workforce and how education can align with industry needs.

Convocation 2025 - A Milestone for IFIM Graduates

The Convocation at IFIM College was a celebration of perseverance, transformation, and new beginnings. Each graduate’s walk across the stage reflected years of dedication and personal growth. Beyond degrees, they carried with them values, experiences, and the spirit of IFIM. With pride and purpose, our graduates now step into the world to create bold impact and carry forward the IFIM legacy.

New Facilities at the Campus 

IFIM College has introduced three new facilities to enhance the student learning and campus experience. The E-Classroom brings advanced technology for digital and virtual learning, the Library - Knowledge Resource Centre offers a focused space for research and study, and Aspretto Café provides a vibrant setting for relaxation and collaboration. These additions reinforce our commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and student well-being.

BBA and BCom Industry Visit

As part of IFIM College’s experiential learning approach, first-year BBA and BCom students visited the Titan Eye+ factory for an insightful industrial experience.
The visit offered students a first-hand look at the manufacturing processes, operational workflows, and cross-functional collaboration behind a leading brand. It helped bridge classroom learning with real-world business practices, enhancing their understanding of how theory translates into action.
Such industry visits are integral to IFIM’s commitment to preparing students for dynamic careers through practical exposure.

VIJAYBHOOMI UNIVERSITY NEWS:

Mr. Vinay Prabhakar at PALM Expo

Mr. Vinay Prabhakar, Dean of the True School of Music, Vijaybhoomi University, represented the institution at PALM Expo 2025 with a powerful session titled “Sound Futures: Audio Engineering in India at the Crossroads of Technology, Education, and Innovation.” Held on 29th May at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, the session highlighted how AI is revolutionizing production workflows, the rising need for formal training, and the role of mentorship in nurturing future-ready talent. In an era of booming OTT, live events, immersive audio, and game sound design, the talk served as a call to action for the next generation of Indian audio professionals-where tradition meets technology and innovation drives the future of sound.

FACULTY का FUNDA:

In an age of viral content and constant sharing, visibility often overshadows credibility. Memes have replaced editorials, and anyone can be a creator-but original thinking is fading. This edition of Faculty का Funda urges a return to critical thinking, real discussions, and media awareness-especially among students shaped by OTT, social media, and “WhatsApp University.”
The timeless lesson? Don’t take anything at face value. Think, question, and trust what’s real.

Summer Camp at Vijaybhoomi University

Day 1 of the VJC Summer Camp at Vijaybhoomi University kicked off with energy, creativity, and adventure. Students explored design with Mr. Suthar’s team from VSST, dove into musical innovation with Prof. Abhi Acharya and Prof. Vivek Pal, and unleashed their adventurous side with
rifle shooting, archery, swimming, and team-building games. The day was packed with learning, laughter, and new friendships - a perfect start to an unforgettable summer! Special thanks to Dr. Salur Srikant Patnaik for making it all possible.

Brunch Pe Charcha - Mumbai BPC

The much-awaited Mumbai Brunch Pe Charcha returns on 27th July 2025, promising a vibrant day of adventure, networking, and reconnection for our alumni community. The event will feature interactive mystery or adventure games followed by a relaxed lunch—an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and strengthen old bonds in true Jivaa spirit.

Manager / SME – Global Backorder Management at Oracle

I must say it was a mixed experience. The cancellation of classes, Imparts not working, video & audio not clear were the challenges we faced but many good experiences I had in IFIM have overshadowed the challenging experience. The flexibility , the knowledge of our Professors, their mentoring and coaching I received, the importance of subjects that was imparted to me will be cherished for a long time. The knowledge and the experience I take out of this 2 years of PGDM WPP is tremendous. As they say " ALL WELL THAT ENDS WELL" the happy and the proud feeling after successfully completing my PGDM cannot be expressed in words.. Thanks to everyone at IFIM for their help. I Look forward to be part of IFIM family in future with active participation.

Technical Lead at Wipro Limited

I Finished my PGDM-WP program from IFIM and trust me what I feel today the best decision had taken in my career. Being a working professional and a Father of one kid I finished my degree on time which I feel is a big achievement. Good opportunity with my current organization (Wipro) only All thanks to the faculty and the live interactive classes. Faculty was very supportive and is one of the best. Due to Pandemic situations thanks to the online sessions and the team specially Jesu Ruby mam for unconditional support in every situations. The industry programs are designed in a way in which you can turn out to be a better entrepreneur and have a nice understanding of the start-up world. Classrooms are fun- The classrooms are not boring as they keep you hooked to the kind with fun and interactive sessions. Discussions, role plays, activities, games and other interactive things are conducted from time to time to make sure that the session turns out to be nothing but fun.
